EVM5410 + XDS510 Emulator Board

Sunday, June 27th, 2010

Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded launched a fast and efficient EVM5410 + XDS510 emulator board which includes four LED status indicators for power, internal JTAG ON, XF and DSP timer output. This emulator board uses a fixed-point DSP TMS320VC5410A with 160MHz primary frequency and integrates an XDS510 emulator complying with all TMS320 family DSPs. It is specially designed for high performance TI DSP systems and is commonly used in study, scientific research, experimentation and product development.

This EVM5410 + XDS510 emulator board offers analog signal I/O port and supports SPP8 & EPP LPT. It features great extending capability. Peripherals can be easily extended to meet diverse needs such as A/D sampling card, storage card or network card. A DSP extending USB interface makes the emulator convenient to use with a daughter card, such as BOOTLOADER card, extended RAM, extended AD/DA or network card. In addition, the integrated JTAG control circuits allow users to use CCS without an external emulator.

MXH and MXU Antenna Multiplexers

Thursday, June 24th, 2010

Toronto, Canada – GAO Embedded has released its MXH and MXU antenna multiplexers operating at 13.56MHz (HF) or 860MHz to 960MHz (UHF). The multiplexers enable multiple antenna inputs at multiple read points to be integrated and read by a single RFID reader thus minimizing the number of readers deployed when multiple read-points are required and saving on infrastructure investment for the user.

The MXH and MXU antenna multiplexers, model 733001, are equipped with either 4 or 8 antenna ports so as to expand a reader’s capability to meet specific application requirements. Each multiplexer is controlled by either a host processor or a reader module that allow any of the eight antennas to be addressed explicitly using three GPIO pins. Further scalability can be achieved by adding additional multiplexers so that a reader module can support more than eight antennas.
